PORTLAND, Ore. - Comcast SportsNet Northwest and Verizon announced Wednesday (Jan. 16) that Comcast SportsNet is being included with Verizon's FiOS TV service in the greater Portland area.
Comcast SportsNet will be available in standard definition on channel 66 in the popular FiOS TV Premier programming package, which includes more than 250 all-digital channels. Verizon expects to add Comcast SportsNet in high definition later this year.
Comcast SportsNet is the new 24 x 7 regional sports network dedicated to Northwest sports. Comcast SportsNet features live game coverage of more than 50 exclusive Trail Blazers games; approximately 60 NHL games, 25 featuring the Vancouver Canucks; and college sports coverage including the University of Oregon, University of Portland, Portland State University, University of Washington and Oregon State University Sports. Comcast SportsNet also offers daily sports news and talk programming to give fans the latest updates on the teams and players that matter most across the region.
