Verizon hosted Chief Technology Officers from the Asian telecom giants to tour Super Bowl preparations and took a ride on the 5G Experience Bus.  Alex Jinsung Choi, SK Telecom CTO and Seizo Onoe, NTT Docomo CTO visited with Verizon CTO, Roger Gurnani to tour network facilities during Super Bowl weekend. The three executives took a ride on the Verizon 5G Experience bus, which showcases futuristic use cases for 5G speeds in an immersive and interactive demonstration.

Verizon formed the 5G Open Trial Specification Alliance last year with South Korean telecommunications companies, KT and SK Telecom and Japan's NTT Docomo to develop an aligned 5G trial specification. The collaboration helps drive 5G standards in the international ecosystem. Verizon in collaboration with our 5G Technology Forum partners (Cisco, Ericsson, Intel, Nokia, QualComm, Samsung) are driving the development of 5G technology. The ongoing alliance with international Operators is helping accelerate our path to commercial 5G services.
