FiOS TV is liberating live TV programming from the confines of the home by giving our customers the ability to watch up to 9 of our most popular TV channels wherever they are and whenever they want. “We’ve tried to offer a little something for everyone in this initial offering from the do-it-yourselfer to the football super fan to the moviegoer, and this is just the beginning,” said Maitreyi Krishnaswamy, director of FiOS TV’s consumer video services.
How Can You Start Watching?
Now, channels available with this initial rollout out of the home include BBC America, BBC World News, EPIX, NFL Network (tablet only) including “Thursday Night Football,” Tennis Channel and networks from Scripps Networks Interactive including Food Network and Travel Channel.

Some of Your Favorite Local Channels Are Also Available
We’re not done yet! Now, FiOS customers in parts of New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., can use their tablets and mobile phones to also watch local news and weather within the home on the local affiliates of ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox and Spanish-language channels such as UniMas and Univision.
For movie lovers and cinephiles, the FiOS Mobile App also offers two video on-demand channels with STARZ and ENCORE as well as over 45,000 Flex View titles to buy or rent both in and out of the home. Customers can access 4,000 Free Video On-Demand and Subscription Video On-Demand both in and out of the home including premium content such as HBO and Cinemax. Let’s not forget that the FiOS Mobile App already allows customers to watch 76 live linear channels in the home in all FiOS markets.
