LeasePlan Chooses MCI To Provide Worldwide MPLS-Based Data Network And Security Services

MCI Private IP MPLS-based network solution and security services enable LeasePlan to benefit from high network performance

Amsterdam, 28 June 2005 - MCI. Inc. (NASDAQ: MCIP) today announced that it has been selected by LeasePlan Corporation NV, the world's largest and most experienced motor vehicle fleet manager, to provide an MPLS-based global data network with 120 sites in 24 countries. LeasePlan Corporation Group of Companies (LP Group) assets are in excess of euro 8.8 billion, financing more than 1.3 million cars, trucks, plants and equipment on operating leases and under fleet management. The LP Group consists of 26 operating companies throughout the world.
