Jacinda jumpstarts her Retail career.
Jacinda joined Verizon’s Retail team in 2008. As a recent graduate of Georgia College & State University, she was primarily focused on looking for a job with a stable income. She had friends and family who worked at Verizon and touted it as an amazing company with great benefits, compensation, and growth opportunities. She was intrigued by their passion and decided to apply.
Jacinda’s Verizon Retail path began as a Retail Customer Service Representative. As she progressed and excelled in this role, Jacinda was eager to take on new responsibilities by moving into different Retail roles. Her drive and dedication helped her learn and experience nearly every facet of Verizon’s Retail team, including Sales Representative, Assistant Manager, General Manager, District Manager, Government-Business Account Manager, Chief of Staff, and Consumer Sales Director. Additionally, she’s earned President’s Cabinet and Credo recognition — two prestigious awards available to top-performing V Teamers.
“Each of these roles, teams, and geographies has progressively provided me with a deeper understanding of our organization, as well as a personal sense of pride in leading and serving amazing teams and our community,” Jacinda shared. “Intrinsically, these roles have allowed me to lean into my strengths and passions. I love what I do — leading and serving teams in their professional growth while delivering performance excellence.”
