INnet announces industry's first WINDOWS NT 4.0 WEB HOSTING SERVICE in Belgium

INnet nv, the leading Internet service provider in Belgium, today announced the availability of a complete range of Web hosting services built on Microsoft? BackOffice . This announcement marks the first Microsoft Windows NT? 4.0 based Web hosting service available from a major Internet Service Provider (ISP).
INnet, the first major ISP to offer Web hosting and one of the largest hosting sites for businesses, will offer customers a wide range of Web services built on the Microsoft Windows NT Server and the Microsoft BackOffice family of applications. These services include dedicated Web hosting and database hosting, as well as development and management tools.
INnet's Windows NT Server Web hosting is based on Microsoft's most recently released NT Server 4.0, which has built-in Web services that include the Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) version 2.0. IIS is currently in use by more than 200,000 users. Other Web hosting features include the Microsoft FrontPage 1.1 Web authoring and management tool, the latest version of the tool for creating and managing Web sites, and Microsoft Index Server, a content indexing and querying search engine. For customers who wish to augment their Web site with a back-end database, INnet offers relational database hosting with Microsoft SQL Server 6.5.

The easy-to-use Windows NT environment, combined with the tools provided by INnet, will enable both the novice and experienced hosting customer to create powerful, effective Web sites. Whether through the use of ActiveX? links, Visual Basic? scripts, or FrontPage development wizards, INnet customers can give visitors to their Web sites a dynamic experience.
