Kelley Kurtzman walks the talk.

When she’s 80 and relaxing in her rocking chair on her porch, Kelley Kurtzman is confident she’ll have no regrets that her family always remained her top priority. As the leader of consumer residential sales and service centers, Kelley’s known for her big heart, her energetic personality, and getting the job done.

Stepping outside of herself.

After long work days, family time, and self care, Kelley always finds time to give back to a cause she is passionate about - domestic violence assistance. As an Executive Committee member for JBWS-Safety, Support, and Solutions for Abuse, Kelley channels her passion for helping others by leading fundraising events and building solutions for victims of abuse. She’s proud of the most recent Grand Tasting event that raised over half a million dollars.

She may be a committee member, but she gets personally involved, and each individual story reinforces her commitment to the cause. She recalls a time when a teenage boy had nowhere to go; wearing only the clothes on his back. Within hours and a productive trip to Target, Kelley ensured he had safe shelter along with everything he needed for his comfort and safety.

Domestic violence can occur within any demographic, any race, any gender. It’s critical to have an executable safety plan.

Kelley has worked with victims of violence since her time as the president of the Pacific Northwest Region for our wireless business. When accepting a position in New Jersey, it wasn’t long before she started to help in her community again. Now, four years later, Kelley’s made JBWS her extended family.

If you want to learn it. Teach it.

As a constant self-learner, Kelley is often challenging herself to take on new roles to gain a deeper understanding of technological advancements that are delivering the future. To stay informed, Kelley speaks at Customer Contact Week (CCW) events where innovation and technology are the main focus. She’s now a member of the Board; channeling her Top Ten Secrets for Success with CCW Women. Kelley hosts these kickoffs for women needing a venue to learn about digital innovations.

Staying strong.

Whether at home or work, in order to be successful, and to help others succeed, Kelley is a proponent of self care. She works out most mornings, she gets seven hours of sleep nightly, and she’s a fan of monthly massages. Her husband and her three sons are her world, so when she’s home, she’s mindful about staying present to ensure they appreciate their time together.

Kelley’s stresses the importance of asking for help. Her husband Jeff manages the household; and she attributes much of her success to his support of her career. In fact, her sons knew how to sort light and dark laundry at the age of three. Jeff is an ex-Marine, so he runs a ship-shape household.

Kelley’s philosophy centers on inspiring employees to deliver extraordinary results.

It’s all about the people, and if care isn’t shown to people, they will leave. I have their backs, and I know they have mine.
