At Verizon, our customers count on us to deliver the nation’s most reliable wireless network. Our customers also rely on us to protect their privacy and value personalized experiences.

That’s why we’re launching our Custom Experience program, a new program that will allow Verizon - and only Verizon - to use certain information to personalize our customers' experiences and interactions with us.

In addition, our existing Verizon Selects program is now called Custom Experience Plus and no longer includes third-party targeted advertising.

What you need to know:

Eligible Customers

The Custom Experience program includes most consumer and small business customers with smartphones. Lines with devices or plans meant for children are excluded, as are corporate and government accounts.

The Custom Experience Plus program is available to most consumer and small business customers with any wireless device. Lines with devices or plans meant for children are excluded, as are corporate and government accounts.

Timing

The new Custom Experience program will begin in 2022, after all eligible customers have been notified about the program and given at least 30 days to opt out. New lines of service will be notified at the time of activation and will also have at least 30 days to opt out before becoming part of the program.

Customers who previously chose to participate in Verizon Selects will continue to participate under the program’s new name, Custom Experience Plus, and can opt out at any time. Other eligible customers can opt in at any time.

Customer choice

Custom Experience and Custom Experience Plus are both optional programs. Customers can change their preferences at any time by visiting the privacy preference page on the My Verizon site or in the My Verizon app.
