Celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

V Team,

Today, we kick off Asian Pacific American Heritage Month focusing on the theme: “All of us: elevated.”

All of our Global Diversity and Inclusion programs this year are based around the theme “All of us” with the goal of bringing our whole selves to work together to drive a more inclusive environment for our employees and customers. By doing this, we are elevating the voices of those who are contributing to the business every day.

I am proud to be the executive sponsor of our employee resource groups Asian Pacific Employees for eXcellence (APEX) and South-Asian Professionals Inspiring Corporate Excellence (SPICE), and a strong supporter of elevAsian at Verizon Media Group. They work hard to facilitate career development for their members while building the company’s inclusive culture for our customers and community.

Throughout the month, there will be opportunities to engage in conversations and participate in programs that help us appreciate our differences while drawing us closer together as one V Team. I hope you also join us on May 20 for our celebration webcast at 3PM Eastern.

Let’s elevate one another in Verizon 2.0!

Matt
