Eric D. Cevis Eric D. Cevis

Eric D. Cevis was appointed Vice President of the Internet Service Provider (ISP) Markets, with responsibility for ISP sales and market management of the newly formed Verizon Advanced Services Group-Internet and Data Services Organization effective with the Bell Atlantic/GTE merger. Prior to this appointment he was the Vice President of Sales for the Enterprise Business Group's Emerging Markets Organization.

Before accepting this assignment he was the Sales Director within the Enterprise Business Group with responsibility for all ISP's that did business with Bell Atlantic across the region. Mr. Cevis was appointed Director of Sales, in the Large Business Services group of Fortune 500 accounts (all vertical markets) in the Washington Metropolitan Area, for the Bell Atlantic Corporation, in July of 1996. Prior to becoming Director of Sales, he was a Sales Manager for the Federal Systems Division of Bell Atlantic.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Cevis received a B.S. Degree in Marketing Management from George Mason University in 1986. He continued his educational pursuits through the Graduate Executive Leadership Development Program at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in 1996.


Christopher R. HalloranChristopher R. Halloran

Christopher R. Halloran, Director of Sales for the ISP Markets of Verizon Advanced Services, has responsibility for the ISP segment of Verizon's Advanced Services nationwide. He was previously the Director of Sales for the ISP Markets of Enterprise Business Group within Bell Atlantic prior to the merger with GTE.

Prior to his accepting the Director of Sales position, Christopher Halloran was a Sales Manager in the ISP Segment for Bell Atlantic. During this time he was responsible for managing the sales and technical resources to sell integrated communications solutions to the Internet community as well as coordinating strategic objectives and policies for ISPs. In addition, Mr. Halloran has over ten years' sales experience managing national and regional corporate accounts.

Mr. Halloran received a B.S. Degree from Towson State University, Towson, Maryland.


James R. MoranJames R. Moran

James R. Moran ("Randy") is Director of ISP Market Management for ISP Markets, within Verizon's Advanced Services Group. He has responsibility for leading a national team of industry professionals accountable for the development of Verizon's go to market strategy for selling products and services in the ISP / ASP markets as well as the ISP Markets' e-Business vision and Web presence.

Prior to accepting this position, Mr. Moran was Regional Branch Sales Director for the Maryland and Washington D.C. area within the Verizon Enterprise Solutions Group for six years. During this time, he was responsible for leading a large organization of sales, sales engineering and customer care professionals in selling integrated network solutions as well network integration and consulting to some of Verizon's largest customers.

Mr. Moran began his career with Verizon as a Corporate Account Manager in Virginia. Since that time, he has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and D.C., including positions in Sales Operations, and Sales Management and Systems Engineering Management.

Randy Moran has over fifteen years of experience in the industry, leading national and regional account teams. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia, and has also completed a number of advanced professional development courses at Penn State, The Wharton School, and The University of Maryland.


James R. WikmanJames R. Wikman

James R. Wikman, Director of Sales for the ISP Markets of Verizon Advanced Services, has responsibility for a portion the ISP segment of Verizon's Advanced Services. He was previously the Director of Sales for the ISP Markets of the former GTE territory. Mr. Wikman has been a sales director within the ISP Markets and Carrier Services for the past four years.

Prior to accepting this position, Mr. Wikman was a National Sales Manager in the carrier markets segment for GTE. During this time he was responsible for managing the sales and technical resources for integrated communications solutions to national common carrier accounts. In addition, Mr. Wikman has directed operations support in Product and Services planning as well as new product and revenue growth. He held several other positions in Network Engineering, Network Planning, Capital Budgeting, and Market Planning.

Mr. Wikman holds a Master's degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Grand Valley State University as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Michigan State University.


DANIEL D. FELDERDaniel D. Felder

Director of Sales for the ISP Markets, has responsibility for a portion the of ISP segment of Verizon's Advanced Services. Prior to accepting this position, Mr. Felder served as director of programs for Verizon Federal, he was responsible for the administration and management of major civilian and military contracts. Among the contracts that Mr. Felder administered were the U.S. General Services Administration's Washington Interagency Telecommunications System (WITS 2001) contract, the Defense Telecommunications Modernization Project (TEMPO) and the U.S. Army Digital Switched Systems Modernization Program (DSSMP).

Before the merger of Bell Atlantic Corporation and GTE Corporation, Mr. Felder served as director of marketing and channel management for Bell Atlantic Federal. In this capacity, Mr. Felder directed the marketing effort in support of key federal contracts, including the GSA Schedule. His responsibilities included the management of market research, marketing communications and product management teams.

A 24-year veteran of Verizon, Mr. Felder has held a variety of sales, engineering and marketing positions both within Verizon Federal and Verizon Corporation. Previously, Mr. Felder served as the sales director responsible for the management of all Army and Air Force accounts.

Mr. Felder belongs to the Developmental Roundtable for Professional Development, an organization specializing in professional mentoring and community service programs.

Mr. Felder holds a B.A. in Fine Arts from Norfolk State University. He has also completed the Bell Atlantic Accelerated Leadership Development Program at the University of Pennsylvania - Wharton School of Business.

An active member of the United Methodist Church of the Redeemer in Temple Hills, Md., Mr. Felder serves as chairman of the church council and is treasurer of REEDEM, Inc., a church-affiliated non-profit community service-based organization.


Mary Lynn ScanlonMary Lynn Scanlon

Mary Lynn Scanlon is the Manager of the ISP Markets, Marketing Channel Operations organization. Ms. Scanlon is a high energy, results oriented, self-motivated information technology professional, with technical and managerial experience in the telecommunications industry.

The Marketing Channel Operations mission is to define, advocate and manage the sales and marketing business function services from the Core/ILEC, Wholesale & SDA organizations in order to drive the corporate revenue and sales volume expectations of the ISP sales channel.

Marketing Channel Operations is responsible for:
Executive Support, ISP Markets Business Metrics, Capital and Expense Budgets, General and Special Customer Positioning Events, Rewards & Recognition Programs, Compensation Planning, Retention Planning, Talent 2000 Program Coordination, Real Estate Planning, development of ISP Markets Performance Agreements, and providing content on the Marketing Channel Operations group website. Ms. Scanlon also has the responsibility for Special Projects such as (BA/GTE) Merger Planning, National SDA Systems Planning and Project Management of Vendor/Consultants for Strategic Business Plans.

Ms. Scanlon has held a variety of different assignments during her twenty years with Verizon, which include: Manager, Business Systems - Bell Atlantic Federal Systems, Account Manager, Public & Operator Systems - Bell Atlantic Information Systems; Manager, Business Process Reengineering; Manager, IS Strategic Planning,Technology Research & Transfer; and Manager, IS Database Administration.

Ms. Scanlon holds a Master of Administrative Science degree from The John Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD. Ms. Scanlon has also attained a Masters Certificate in Project Management, from the George Washington University, Washington, DC. She has also attended the Leadership Challenge Development Program, The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
